You Dear Sweet Man
by Thomas Neviaser

The subway ad is enticing. One might even consider it elegant as well. A beautiful woman, sitting atop a desk in a sparsely decorated office, staring directly at Bobby Fastow, a blue collar worker, on his way to his monotonous yet physically exhausting job. The photograph has an unusual charisma, a spectacular presence. It seemingly leaps off and out of the poster.

Bobby Fastow intensely absorbs the information directed at him. BurgerBlast, his favorite fast food restaurant, famous for quick service and reliable, if not artery-choking fare, is announcing a new name and a new direction.

But, in the world of advertising, nothing is as it seems. What if the line that separates an advertisement from the real world were erased? What if an image stepped from an ad and beckoned you to follow it back, inviting you to melt into its world. Could you resist? Bobby Fastow couldn't, and his decision would turn his world upside down.

Mrs. Sullivan entertains her guest with the story of how she came to live at Honey Tree Farm. She recounts meeting Jesse, the love of her life, and how a jealous bully tried to destroy their life together.

What Megan and Josh discover is that love is precious and can indeed last beyond a life time.

My Lonely Room
by John A. Vikara

Life wasn't so great when you didn't have much of a relationship with your parents or the ability to play street games while growing up in the fifties. You would rather be secluded in your lonely room, using your imagination to write stories and draw comic books than to be drowned in negativity by your mother or humiliated by your peers. All of this can change for Jimmy Yadenik when he meets Johnny, his soon to be mentor and member of the Vandals, and he applies for membership. But the transition won't be easy.

In Brian Paone's first novel, he chronicles the trials and tribulations of befriending a modern-day rock star. As a die-hard fan of the rock band God Lives Underwater, Brian wins the trust of lead singer David Reilly. This honor comes with its own set of extreme personal highs and devastating shared lows.

During their tumultuous friendship, David fights an extreme battle with drug abuse and depression. Pile on top of all this the throes of a cutthroat music industry and the realization of one’s own mortality.

Dreams Are Unfinished Thoughts is a novel that convinces the heart of every reader that perhaps dreams are never really finished. Instead, they are passed on from one friend to the next.

Kindertransport
by Kena Sosa

Just before the outbreak of World War II, the Nazis pushed Jewish families to do something they never imagined they would. They sent their children away on a train to faraway places to live with strangers so that they would be safe until the danger passed. As she gets onboard the Kindertransport, a train to hope, ten-year-old Helen will never be the same.

The Flawed Ones
by Jay Chirino
*Release is set for 11/1/2017

After leaving behind a trail of drug-addled destruction, Jay finds himself confined to the walls of a psychiatric hospital. He is now compelled to confront his actions, his issues, and the past that led him to such downhill spiral. But what surprisingly affects him most are the people that he becomes surrounded by; people with considerable deficiencies that will shed some light on the things that truly matter in life.

“The Flawed Ones” is a thorough examination of the struggles of mental illness, depression, addiction, and the effects they have on the human condition. Most importantly, it proves that physical and mental shortcomings do not necessarily define who we truly are inside- that the heart is, in fact, untouched by our “flaws”, and that love will always prevail above all.

Perhaps the oldest mystery of mankind is "What is the relationship between God and man/woman?" Surprisingly, the answer may lie in a mathematical model hidden within India's ancient architecture, believed to be at least five thousand years old.

First in the "Tension on a Pension" cozy mystery series.

Long in the Sleuth combines humor, romance and suspense with a unique angle--a quirky team of seniors trying to adjust to life in a retirement home, while people are dropping dead all around them.

Who killed Sam Levin with a poisoned knish? Could it be Ellie, who baked it? The yentas at the Menorah Retirement Home think that it just might be.

Ellie Shapiro is a reluctant resident of the Minnie and Isaac Memorial Menorah Retirement home. Then Sam, a popular fellow resident, drops dead after eating a knish that Ellie's baked. Other murders follow. With her fellow sleuths and Sam's hapless teen-age grandson Noah, plus a dog, Ellie sets out to find the killer.

But will the disapproval of Ellie's hunky crush, Hal, stop the motley detection team before the killer gets her?
Over the course of the book, Ellie gains confidence, a friend, a new career and maybe even the guy, as the action takes her from the Menorah kitchens to an out-of-control fight at a mahjong game and a revelatory visit to gambling casino, culminating in a confrontation with a crazed murderer.

Ellie's recipes included.

Literature, specifically poetry, is a bridge between what we know and the abstract side of our life. The original layer is the fiction mixed with what we know and what we could know. The abstract exists everywhere on the Earth and in the galaxy and the beyond. The abstract is my favorite sanctuary. The challenge is complicated and severe.

Sanctuary is the place where I find virgin ideas and thoughts wearing tens, sometimes hundreds of skins. I peel the skins to reach the pearl. Writing requires time to form, like diamond stones. Some prefer to pick row words and dye them.

In this little book, I decided to spice my poems. I placed myself at the beginning of the book and branched out characters, some I created; others inspired me and energized my creative ability.

The story and all it entails is simple. It tries to define love in an entirely different perspective on the understanding that prevails today. I needed a protagonist to fit the story; one of a story never been told; a guru in faith, religious philosopher and a rare poet. The age difference between him and a—girl―had to be coast to coast in time.

But if the NTA finds out what she knows, it won’t only be her own life at stake, but the life of the handsome soldier who has vowed to set her free.

Fans of Divergent, The Darkest Minds, and The Handmaid’s Tale will love this dystopian story of twisted secrets, romance, and page-turning suspense.

This Body Won’t Break is Book One of The O-Negative Series and will be published in 3 Parts (each approx. 25k words in length). Parts will be published on the first Tuesday of every month.
