Years after escaping from his northern, snow-covered hometown, psychiatrist Erik Fjällberg returns following a mysterious trail of murders and disappearances linked to his veiled past.
The scent of homeland seduces him and clouds his thoughts, but his reality collapses when he witnesses the murder of a senator, the murder of a person he holds most dear. A race against time begins to end that vicious circle of death and pain which threatens to end his very existence, to claim his mind and sanity.
