Cassandra, like any person wants to make her life better, but suffers for every decision she makes. On a trip to Mexico with her partner she encounters three mysterious people who change her life forever. Following an unexplained murder and a disappearance, Cassandra is gripped by the feeling that she is being hunted by something demonic. She escapes London to stay with an old friend in Norfolk, but her friend has drastically changed, and Cassandra knows that she is running out of time. She retraces her steps to seek some answers, but only finds more questions, and she begins to realise there is no one who can help her, and there is no one she can trust.
